CRISALION Mobility, a European pioneer in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology, has made its debut in the Australian market by securing a pre-order for 100 Integrity aircraft from Wilbur Air, a wholly owned airline subsidiary of Australian eVTOL infrastructure developer, Skyportz.

The strategic agreement, announced at the UK Farnborough International Airshow, marks a significant milestone in Australia’s sustainable aviation journey and CRISALION’s global expansion.

The Integrity eVTOL, CRISALION’s flagship aircraft, is designed for urban and inter-city transport, accommodating up to five passengers and a pilot.

Key Features:

  • 130km range at cruising speeds of 180km/h
  • 400kg payload capacity
  • Minimal noise emissions
  • Versatile applications including cargo, urban mobility, emergency services, and tourism

Integrity features CRISALION’s patented FlyFree propulsion system, which incorporates 16 motors arranged in two arms on each side of the aircraft. This advanced system allows for independent thrust vector adjustment in both pitch and roll, enabling precise control and superior stability.

Supported by sophisticated control technology and dedicated rotor design for aerodynamic efficiency, stability, precision and cabin control, the system is thought to enable a superior passenger experience.

Carlos Poveda, Founder and CEO of CRISALION Mobility, stated: “Today’s announcement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainable air travel and we’re delighted to partner with one of Australia’s foremost AAM pioneers. Together, with our Integrity aircraft, we will develop an urban mobility solution that will transform cities and lives across the country.”

Clem Newton-Brown, CEO of Wilbur Air, commented: “We are very excited about the prospect of having CRISALION Mobility’s eVTOLs operating out of our vertiports under the Wilbur Air brand. Many of our partners are looking for exactly the skill set that CRISALION Mobility offers.”
