Wisk launches test flights in Los Angeles. Check out this short highlight reel of the LA Flight Test Program.

In October 2023, Wisk began test flights at Long Beach airport in the greater Los Angeles area, making it the first-ever company to complete eVTOL flights in LA.

These flights allowed Wisk to conduct autonomous flight operations in a complex, real-world, commercial airport environment, alongside other passenger airline operations.

Most importantly, it allowed them to demonstrate the safety of autonomous passenger flight and prove that autonomous flight is happening today.

Wisk concluded its Long Beach test flights with a public demonstration flight during Long Beach Airport’s Festival of Flight on October 21.
