BETA Technologies and Bristow have partnered to fly routes across western Norway, conducting demonstration flights to show what is possible with electric aviation.

Norway has 47 airports serving a population of 5 million people across a long, narrow country shaped by fjords and mountains. Aviation is essential for moving people and products efficiently across this rugged terrain, where a 45-minute flight can replace a 5-hour drive.

The route demonstrations reflect existing demand, established infrastructure, and support from the Norwegian government and people for advancing electric aviation.

BETA Technologies is building electric aircraft, charging infrastructure, and advanced aviation systems to transform how people and goods move. With a focus on safety, sustainability, and real-world performance, the company is advancing the shift toward all-electric flight.
