The 3rd Africa Land Forces Forum 2026 will take place from 4–6 July 2026 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, as part of NADCEL 2026, the 163rd Nigerian Army Day Celebrations.
Hosted under the patronage of the Nigerian Army, ALFF 2026 will convene Chiefs of Army and senior military leadership from African and non-African countries. The forum will focus on security challenges across the continent, including terrorism, insurgency, border protection, organized banditry, and cross-border instability.
For the Advanced Air Mobility International audience, the event is relevant for its focus on operational readiness, ISR technologies, integrated defense systems, and coordination between military capabilities across operating environments.

An exclusive cocktail reception for Chiefs of Army and senior military leaders is scheduled for Friday, 3 July 2026, from 19:00–22:00.

Themes
ALFF 2026 will cover modernization of African armies, defense infrastructure, intelligence-sharing, territorial defense, and cooperation between military stakeholders.
The program will also highlight technologies that support integrated operations, including ISR systems, force modernization tools, and integrated defense systems.
What’s On?
The event will begin with an opening ceremony on 4 July 2026, attended by Ministers, Chiefs of Army, and senior military representatives. Conference sessions will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, presentations, and technology showcases.
The international exhibition will run alongside the conference, connecting defense suppliers with Chiefs of Army and senior military leadership. One-to-one meetings will be available for exhibitors and sponsors through a structured program.
On 5 July 2026, discussions and exhibition activity will continue, followed by the closing ceremony and a VIP Gala Dinner from 19:00–22:00.
On 6 July 2026, the ALFF delegation will attend the Nigerian Army Day Celebrations Grand Finale.

Senior Nigerian Armed Forces officials attending include General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Defence Staff; Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Army Staff; Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, Chief of the Navy Staff; and Air Marshal Sunday K. Aneke, Chief of the Air Staff.
The event will also include Chiefs of Armies and senior military leaders from African and non-African nations.
