The Advanced Air Mobility Symposium 2026 will bring together international regulators, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and technology experts to examine the future implementation of advanced air mobility systems.
Taking place under the theme “From Vision to Implementation: Enabling the AAM Ecosystem”, the symposium will explore how early advanced air mobility (AAM) operations can transition toward safe, scalable, and globally interoperable systems.
The event will review lessons learned from pioneering deployments involving unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, while also assessing progress made following the Call to Action established during AAM 2024 at ICAO Headquarters.
Participants will discuss operational integration, automation, autonomy, workforce development, and the infrastructure required to support the long-term global adoption of advanced air mobility operations.
The Advanced Air Mobility Symposium 2026 will take place from 1–3 December 2026.
Sessions throughout the symposium will examine the pathways required to support the implementation and scaling of advanced air mobility ecosystems. Discussions will focus on operational integration, safety, regulatory harmonization, and interoperability across international markets.
The program will also explore the evolving role of human operators as automation and autonomy technologies continue to advance. Additional themes include workforce readiness, infrastructure development, and strategies for supporting seamless AAM integration into existing aviation systems.
The symposium will feature expert panels, strategic discussions, and presentations involving international aviation leaders, regulators, and industry decision-makers.
Attendees can expect analysis and discussion surrounding:
Sessions will examine how the industry can move from early-stage demonstrations and pilot operations toward scalable AAM systems capable of supporting broader commercial deployment.
Discussions will focus on the role of the human operator within increasingly automated and autonomous aviation environments, including operational oversight and future workforce considerations.
Experts will assess the infrastructure requirements needed to support global AAM operations, including integration into existing aviation ecosystems and future operational frameworks.
The symposium will examine the development of internationally aligned standards and frameworks intended to support safe and interoperable AAM deployment worldwide.
The event will feature contributions from international aviation leaders, policymakers, regulators, and industry experts involved in the development and implementation of advanced air mobility systems.
World-class expert panels and strategic discussions will provide perspectives on operational deployment, regulatory frameworks, autonomy, infrastructure, and workforce development.
