Dutch company PAL-V has obtained its European Production Organisation Approval under EASA regulations, marking a key step toward bringing certified FlyDrive mobility solutions to market on an industrial scale.
With this milestone, PAL-V now holds both the automotive and aviation production certifications required for commercial assembly. The achievement places the developer ahead of competing American and Chinese initiatives in the Advanced Air Mobility sector, making it the first company in the FlyDrive segment worldwide to receive this approval.
The certification validates nearly two decades of regulatory work and technical development, following previous milestones such as receiving a “No Technical Objection” from EASA in 2025. The Production Organisation Approval confirms that PAL-V’s manufacturing system meets all requirements for airworthy production.

The FlyDrive platform targets operational challenges faced by professional operators in emergency response, remote specialist deployment, and critical cargo transport. By combining flight speed with road driving flexibility immediately upon landing, the vehicles aim to streamline operations that currently require switching between traditional air and road transport.
Beyond vehicle assembly, PAL-V has established an ecosystem of Dutch and European partners, suppliers, knowledge institutions, and certification specialists. The development effort integrates innovations in autonomous flight, advanced materials, and zero-emission propulsion systems to support European technological capabilities. The company currently holds a reservation portfolio sufficient to cover its first three years of production.
