Shanghai TCab Technology Co., Ltd. has appointed PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia as its authorized partner in Indonesia, formalizing a collaboration aimed at advancing regulatory pathways and commercial operations for passenger electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
The partnership builds on months of joint collaboration between the two companies as they evaluate practical applications for TCab’s E20 eVTOL aircraft across the region. Prior to the formal announcement, TCab and Intercrus initiated discussions with Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation to examine potential regulatory sandbox pathways for future E20 trial operations.
In parallel with regulatory engagement, both organizations are working alongside local operators to conduct feasibility studies for various deployment scenarios. This joint effort is designed to create a compliant and practical framework to transition advanced air mobility from trial projects to full commercial service. Intercrus is also collaborating with PT Dirgantara Indonesia, the nation’s state-owned aerospace company, on broader initiatives to strengthen the local aerospace ecosystem.
