TCab Tech has signed a strategic partnership with RortiX under which RortiX will procure 100 E20 eVTOL aircraft to support a global advanced air mobility ecosystem.
The agreement, signed at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) in Shanghai, establishes a collaboration between the two companies to develop next-generation intelligent eVTOL aircraft. Under the terms of the agreement, RortiX will deploy the 100 aircraft for global operations while leveraging its expertise in AI and embodied intelligence to explore new operational scenarios for eVTOL aircraft worldwide.
The E20 eVTOL is TCab Tech’s flagship aircraft, featuring a tilt-rotor configuration, capacity for five passengers, and a maximum speed of 320 km/h. The platform offers advantages in cruise efficiency, operational safety, and operating economics, and is designed for regional mobility and tourism applications. TCab Tech has completed key flight tests, including tilt-transition and multi-passenger flights, and is progressing toward airworthiness certification.
Jiang Jun, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of TCab Tech, said, “AWE is not only a showcase of consumer technologies, but also a window into the future of how people will live and move. In many ways, eVTOL aircraft will become one of the most important intelligent mobility platforms in future smart cities. Our partnership with RortiX and this order for 100 aircraft reflect strong market confidence in the E20. We look forward to working together to bring everyday aerial mobility closer to reality.”
RortiX is building an open AI-powered AAM platform and will utilize its expertise in AI technology and international market development as part of the collaboration.
Deng Jie, Executive President of RortiX, added, “TCab Tech has demonstrated strong technological capabilities in the AAM sector, which aligns closely with RortiX’s vision of building a global aerial mobility ecosystem. Through the integration of AI and embodied intelligence, we look forward to working together to help define the next generation of intelligent flight standards for AAM.”
As TCab Tech progresses toward airworthiness certification, the partnership represents a step forward in the development of global AAM operations.
