Archer has officially selected Bristol as the location for its new UK Engineering Hub to spearhead advanced commercial and defense initiatives.

Following a December 2025 announcement regarding its expansion plans, the company has already received hundreds of applications and commenced hiring for the facility. This new workforce is tasked with driving local collaboration with GKN and Anduril UK, with an initial focus on supporting uncrewed vehicle programs. Bristol was chosen for its deep talent pool and long history of aerospace innovation, providing a stable foundation for the company’s next era of development.

The hub serves as a critical component of Archer’s defense strategy, which is currently anchored by a strategic partnership with Anduril. Under this agreement, Archer acts as the exclusive partner for developing a hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft designed specifically for United States and allied defense applications.

Adam Goldstein, CEO and Founder of Archer, said, “We want to hire the best engineers the UK has to offer. Bristol has a strong industrial base and a deep talent pool that makes that possible. This market is a big area of focus for us moving forward and our UK hub will be our home base.”

The establishment of this home base allows the NYSE-listed firm to tap into the regional industrial base while fulfilling its commitment to delivering advanced aerospace solutions for both the commercial and military sectors.
