UrbanV has entered into a partnership with Future Flight Global (FFG) to develop and deploy Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) services, starting in Rome and expanding to global markets.

This strategic partnership brings together UrbanV’s expertise in infrastructure and multimodal connectivity with FFG’s operational capabilities in deploying a diversified fleet of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) and conventional takeoff and landing (eCTOL) aircraft. Together, they aim to accelerate the integration of next-generation aircraft into urban and regional mobility systems.

The initiative begins in UrbanV’s home market of Rome. Expansion is planned across Italy (Emilia-Romagna, Veneto), the French Riviera, and into high-growth markets in North America, South America, and the Middle East.

Discussions with key ecosystem stakeholders are already underway to ensure regulatory alignment, infrastructure integration, and airspace coordination upon launch.

Key Elements of the Partnership

  1. Operational Launch and Test Flights
UrbanV and Future Flight Global will begin joint flight testing in Rome using existing infrastructure, including UrbanV’s UV-0 test vertiport. Concurrently, both parties will develop an integrated business plan to support the transition from testing to full-scale commercial operations.
  2. Vertiport Development and Fleet Operations
UrbanV will lead the design, construction, and operation of vertiports across Rome and other strategic regions. Future Flight Global will be responsible for deploying and managing a diversified fleet of eVTOL and eCTOL aircraft tailored to both urban and regional use cases.
  3. International Market Expansion
The partnership will pursue new IAM opportunities in high-growth regions beyond Europe, including North America, South America, and the Middle East. Market selection will be driven by infrastructure readiness, regulatory alignment, and strategic demand.

Building a Scalable IAM Ecosystem

This partnership lays the foundation for one of the world’s first fully integrated urban air mobility ecosystems. The focus includes multi-OEM aircraft operations, vertiport infrastructure, regulatory certification, and support services. Initial use cases span passenger and cargo transport, regional connections, and coastal mobility.

Carlo Tursi, CEO of UrbanV, commented, “This agreement marks a significant step forward in our plan to bring Advanced Air Mobility to life in Rome and beyond. We are thrilled to collaborate with FFG—a global pioneer in AAM operations. Their leadership, vision, and vast operational experience with conventional aircraft make them an ideal partner for us. Our collaboration combines deep infrastructure expertise with cutting-edge aviation operations and technology to create a scalable and sustainable air mobility ecosystem.”

Karan Singh, CEO of Future Flight Global, added, “Europe represents one of the most promising markets for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and UrbanV is at the forefront of making that vision a reality. Their strong network and foundational work in Rome and across Italy provide the ideal launchpad for FFG’s diverse fleet of aircraft. We are thrilled to collaborate and bring our shared vision of safe, sustainable, and revolutionary electric aviation to life.”

Each aircraft platform was selected based on its mission fit, regulatory maturity, and integration potential. FFG’s operational playbook ensures scalable, efficient deployment across continents.

The initiative marks the launch of a global vision shared by both companies. This agreement outlines a clear roadmap to achieve that shared goal while ensuring each deployment aligns with local regulatory, environmental, and community requirements.
