SkyDrive has partnered with AeroGulf following the signing of a Letter of Intent to purchase up to 50 SKYDRIVE eVTOL aircraft; this collaboration is set to explore air mobility opportunities at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

SkyDrive has been exploring business development opportunities and potential use cases in the United States, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.

Through this business partnership, SkyDrive and AeroGulf Services will work together to explore potential flight routes and practical use cases for commercial eVTOL operations, with a focus on providing sightseeing services and touristic flights at Dubai’s renowned tourist destination, Palm Jumeirah.

AeroGulf Services, Dubai’s first commercial helicopter operator, provides a wide variety of aviation services, including helicopter charters, oil field transportation, filming, and emergency medical services. The company is also planning to explore future business opportunities in the tourism sector using environmentally friendly, fully electric eVTOL aircraft that produce zero CO2 emissions. The compact, three-seater SKYDRIVE aircraft is a perfect fit for their future business model, leading to an agreement for a pre-order of up to 50 units.
