eVTOL developer Horizon Aircraft has appointed John Wyzykowski as a Technical Expert.

John Wyzykowski brings decades of experience in advanced aerospace propulsion systems and joins Horizon Aircraft from Lilium where he served as Head of Propulsion. His expertise in propulsion system design, integration, and optimization will play a crucial role in refining and optimizing the Cavorite X7’s hybrid-electric propulsion architecture.

A recognized leader in propulsion innovation, Wyzykowski has a deep understanding of gas turbine and fully electric propulsion architectures, with specialized knowledge in power density, thermal management, and system redundancy—key challenges in eVTOL design. His appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires as Horizon Aircraft expands its engineering team to accelerate the testing and development of its revolutionary eVTOL platform.
