The Advanced Air Mobility Institute and Neo Aeronautics have announced a strategic partnership to advance innovation and education in AAM.

The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), highlights key initiatives designed to enhance urban mobility, professional development, and emergency response capabilities globally.

A key focus of the collaboration is the facilitation of Firefighting VTOL seminars in Q1 2025, highlighting the potential of VTOL technology in emergency response, particularly in dense urban areas and remote regions where traditional firefighting methods face challenges. These seminars aim to support emergency responders, urban planners, and municipal leaders by introducing innovative approaches to disaster management and public safety.

The partnership includes the development of Professional Certificate programs in AAM, in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). These programs will provide specialized training in AAM operations and maintenance, addressing the industry’s need for skilled professionals while enhancing workforce readiness and opening global career opportunities.

Dr. Kok-Beng Neo, Founder and CEO of Neo Aeronautics, said, “We share the common objective of promoting the AAM ecosystem and innovations. This includes co-organizing AAM summits and roundtables, developing standards, and delivering training programs in AAM management, operations, and maintenance. Together, we are building a foundation for transformative progress in air mobility.

Amin Vafadar from the Institute’s Executive Team, added,“This partnership sets the stage for impactful collaboration and innovation, laying the groundwork for a more sustainable and accessible future in advanced air mobility.

“Together, AAM Institute and Neo Aeronautics are uniquely positioned to make significant strides in transforming mobility solutions and equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to lead the evolution of air mobility.”
