Sonaca has been named as a strategic supplier for AAM company Wisk Aero, and will develop major components for the company’s 6th Generation autonomous air taxi.  

Sonaca will produce and supply major primary structural assemblies of Wisk’s Gen 6 aircraft, having previously supported the design phase of these components. The company state that it will rely on its global footprint to manufacture and supply parts, leveraging its leading facilities from Belgium, Brazil, Romania and the United States. 

A leading parts manufacturer in the aeronautical sector, Sonaca assert that this is a major step forward in its diversification strategy, while confirming its position as a leading major structure supplier.
