The Advanced Air Mobility Institute has published its inaugural First Responder Special Report, dedicated to honoring the contributions of public safety personnel within the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) community.

The report serves as a tribute to the brave men and women who play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of AAM operations.

The First Responder Special Report highlights the stories, challenges, and achievements of first responders within the AAM industry, shedding light on their critical role in ensuring the safe and seamless integration of AAM technologies.

Chris Grazioso, Senior Advisor at the Institute, said; “I eagerly anticipate the release of the First Responder Report by the Advanced Air Mobility Institute. It is encouraging to witness the endorsement of drone technology for first responders by esteemed organizations like the Institute. Drones are revolutionizing emergency response operations, enabling responders to perform their duties with increased effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.

“The paramount importance of ensuring the well-being and safe return of every responder to their loved ones underscores the significance of these technological advancements.

“Looking ahead, I envision a future where use cases expand to include AI-assisted search and rescue missions, Drones as First Responder programs, medical deliveries via drones, and even the implementation of eVTOL ambulances, further enhancing the capabilities and scope of emergency response efforts.”

Dan Sloat, Founder and President, echoed Grazioso’s sentiments, adding; “As we embark on this journey towards a more sustainable and efficient air mobility system, we must not forget the sacrifices and contributions of our first responders.

“This Special Report is a token of our appreciation for their selfless service and unwavering commitment to public safety.”
